Living near the water should not mean giving up your yard to mosquitoes and ticks. Many traditional mosquito control products that are highly effective on residential properties are not approved for use near shorelines because they can impact aquatic life if they enter the water. Because of this, most mosquito control service will either avoid treating lakeshore properties altogether or stay 25 feet or more away from the shoreline — often leaving the areas where mosquitoes are worst completely untreated.

Our Aquatic Specialist program is specifically designed for homes with waterfront or aquatic areas. In shoreline and sensitive areas, we use a natural botanical treatment made from plant-based oils that is highly effective against mosquitoes and ticks while remaining safe for use around aquatic environments when applied properly. This allows us to treat areas much closer to the shoreline than traditional programs while still protecting the lake ecosystem.

For properties with marshes, shoreline vegetation, standing water, ponds, or other mosquito breeding areas, we also apply an approved larvicide treatment that targets mosquito eggs and larvae before they can develop into biting adults. By combining shoreline-safe barrier treatments with targeted larval control, we provide a more complete mosquito management program for lakeshore properties so you can fully enjoy your time outdoors by the water.
